    Sigma Alpha Nu Manila continues to promote the goals of Nationalism, Academic Excellence, Leadership and Uplift of Women in the 2007 UP Manila University Student Council elections. Sis Maria Jnaina Dioso Baybay, Batch 2006-A, Independent, ranked 2nd among the seven elected councilors.

  • Educational Discussion with UPM-US Councilor MK de Guzman June
    Sigma Alpha Nu Manila took social awareness a notch higher by holding an educational discussion with Councilor MK de Guzman. The ED focused on the pressing UP issues such as UPM funding, UP employee issues, and tuition and other fee increase.

    The second edition of the much-awaited planner-organizer especially made for UP Manila students. Endorsed by the UP Manila Chancellor, Dr. Ramon L. Arcadio

    Remembering the 19 glorious years of Sigma Alpha Nu Manila Chapter with a month-long celebration highlighted by a week of rose-giving, a freebies week, and adopt-a-PGH ward. Wrapped up by the much-awaited annual Open Tambayan Party.

  • Justice for Chris Mendez September Sigma Alpha Nu Manila takes a stand on the issue of the latest hazing victim, Chris Mendez. The statement was posted in UP Manila bulletins and various network sites.

  • Murder on the Dance Floor: Are You Guilty or Not? October


    A fund-raising activity that turned out to be the biggest party of the year! Proceeds will go to the Medical Mission/Immersion Program in November

Tentative List of Activities for the Second Semester, AY 2007-2008

  • Serve A Noble Cause November The annual medical mission/immersion program focusing on social issues in Metro Manila.

  • Jailbreak December The annual fashion show, modeling competition and free concert at the Orosa Atrium, Robinson’s Place Manila. This event will feature the prettiest and handsomest faces of UP Manila.
